There's nothing better than a spicy green chili on a below-freezing snowy night! The savory pork mixed with the spicy fire-roasted chilis makes it one of my all-time favorites!
Green Chili Ingredients
I like to make a big pot of chili with the following ingredients:
Pork (chopped, cubed, shredded, or sausage)
chicken broth
Rotel tomatoes
Fire-roasted chilis (from a stand or farmers' market)
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Seasoning
Corn Starch for thickening
Jalapeno for added spiciness
Top with shredded cheddar cheese
Enjoy with tortillas or chips!
Meal Prep Time!
One of the best aspects of making a giant pot of green chili is that it's relatively cheap, makes a ton, freezes easily, and can be added to so many other things! This week I added green chili to breakfast burritos for a quick grab-n-go meal in the mornings. I also froze enough for smothering burritos in the near future, and had a container left for lunch! Wow, that's a lot of pork green chili!
How much will you make and how will you use it?
That looks amazing!
